Graphic Designer and/or "print lady"...
The work on this page was all created while employed with Bunker Family Funeral Homes. Folders, prayer cards, bookmarkers and such are all made for the families and loved ones of the dearly departed decedents. Each item was created with great care to give personalization of the decedent and to make fond memories come alive in their loved ones hearts. Compassion and sensitivity are key elements in this position due to the sensitive content involved. When a person thinks of Graphic Design positions, this is generally not a position that comes to mind, but I can honestly say that it is a very rewarding position for a designer's heart and mind. The many thank you's and the custom work requests that I have encountered absolutely warmed my heart to know that I made a family happy in such a time of need. I look at it this way... we all enter the world with announcements filled with happiness and beautiful birth pictures to share... then balloons and parties for every year thereafter. We should honor those that leave this world with praise, dignity and respect. That is why is is so important to give the grieving friends and loved ones a treasured memory that they can hold on to with a fond loving smile and warmth in their hearts.
Bi-fold Folder...
This is probably my most well known piece due the circumstances. This folder was made for the last victim of the Phoenix Serial Shooters. This case was known coast to coast due to the heightened media coverage. The unfortunate tragedy behind this particular piece was devastating. This folder was very wrenching to the heart to produce. The family was very pleased with the final print.

Tri-fold Folder...
This young man loved race cars. The family asked for a race car watermark on the inside of the folder.
Prayer Cards...
The front and backs of two sets of prayer cards.
Bi-fold Folder...
This was a folder that is slightly different from the "norm". There are no services listed inside of this folder. This particular one consists of letters from many of the closest family members. Things that each one wanted to say to him... their goodbyes are shared with all the family members.

Honoring the Military...
This was a folder created for a young 19 year old that was taken before his time serving our beloved country. This was a funeral that was in the news due to the situation that caused this tragic accident. The printing of this piece was added to by a very unique and ingenious small card tha you see placed with the folder. The card was a donation card that honored his precious daughter. Many times the backs of folders will have a donation request listed. This folder did as well, but the family went one step further and asked to have donation cards printed. They displayed these cards in a small wicker basket next to the folders for the friends and family mambers to take one. That way when the funeral has passed, the folders are placed in the bibles and safe keeping spots, and time has passed slightly... when a loved one gets paid and cashes their check, they can easily pull this card out of their wallet to see the address of where to send the money off to, or bank account to deposit in to.
